Wright was introduced to the Froebel Gifts after his mother discovered them at the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial. Throughout his life Wright attested to their influence on his work.
Eighth in a series of ten Gifts, this set presented in a wood box includes booklet, a grid card, and the following metal pieces:
