Williams House Thank You Notes

# 3367 This design is adapted from the decorative grille inserted into the wood and glass arched front entrance door of the Chauncey Williams house (River Forest, Illinois, 1895). This house was one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s first commissions and is also the first of Wright’s buildings to show a distinct oriental influence, evidenced in the massed arrangement of boulders placed on either side of the steps to the front entrance and along the foundation of the house.
