The design on this shirt is an adaptation of Wright's City by the Sea mural, originally designed for Midway Gardens (Chicago, Illinois 1913; demolished 1929). The quote by Wright on the shirt reads: "Eventually, I think that Chicago will be the most beautiful great city left in the modern world."
