Glencoe Constellation Desk Globe.

The Glencoe Desk Globe was adapted from Wright 's 1911 design for a large brick pedestal in Booth Park, for the town of Glencoe, Illinois. The project, never developed, included covered archway entrances, lights, troughs for watering horses, seating and sculptures. The globe ball features stars, constellations and nebulae when unlit, and 70 celestial images when illuminated. 12"w X 12"d X 20"h.
