Frank Lloyd Wright designed his Prairie style masterpiece, the Frederick C. Robie House, Chicago, IL in 1908 from his Oak Park Studio. This distinctive structure, which was commissioned by a local engineer, is renowned as a forerunner of modernism in architecture. This design, adapted from the wood laylight known as “Stars and Moonbeams,” is found in the upper entry hall of the home. These perforated boards display Wright’s passion for capturing the geometric play of light and shadow that is more frequently found in his Prairie School art glass.

Votive holder is made from cherry veneered MDF with 1/4" thick walls. This decorative addition to your home includes a glass votive holder and a flickering battery operated tea light.
