Zen Kyoto Temple Golden Pavillion - Metal Bookmark

Kinkakuji is a Zen temple in Kyoto whose top two floors are completely covered in glistening gold leaf. The original Temple of the Golden Pavilion dates back to 1397. The building burned down in 1950 and was remade in 1955. It is particularly beautiful in the spring during the cherry blossom season.
