The unique shape of these salt and pepper shakers are inspired by the Moon Gate at Taliesin West. Located just outside of Wright's bedroom, this gate acts as the exit from the Garden Room's courtyard. Memorable for its lunar shape and iconic red color, this door is often thought of as a kind of portal.
These salt and pepper shakers were designed by Seyla Muise, Industrial Designer for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
