Sculpture-Flower in the Crannied Wall

$99.00 USD
509000

"Flower in the crannied wall, I pluck you out of the crannies, I hold you here, root and all..." So begins the poem by Tennyson which inspired Wright to design this graceful sculpture for the Susan Lawrence Dana residence in 1902. The poem itself is cast into the back of the sculpture (image below). Wright liked the finished piece by sculptor Richard Bock so much that he had a copy made for his Wisconsin home, Taliesin. This smaller reproduction is made of hand-cast resin and is recommended for indoor use only.
