Ennis House Moonstone Tile - 6" x 6"

Motawi Tileworks’ 6x6 Ennis House decorative tile is adapted from Wright’s concrete block design for the Charles Ennis residence in Los Angeles. Constructed in 1924, the Ennis House is a prime example of both the Mayan Revival style and Wright’s Textile Block System, an innovative building technique of joining blocks of molded concrete with reinforcing steel rods to create elegantly patterned walls.

• Each tile is made by hand. Time-honored methods produce a nuanced range of color with depth and translucence.
• Actual Tile Size: Approximately 5 7/8” x 5 7/8”. As each Motawi tile is crafted by hand, dimensions may vary slightly by up to 1/16".
• Tiles are 5/8" thick and have a notch at the back for hanging.
